Why Laxmi?
Because a name should mean something, and ours means care and presence.

Laxmi is not just a name.
Laxmi was a leopard cub, found abandoned in India. It was Gerhard Wiehahn, then General Manager of an Aman resort, who took her in, cared for her and gave her back what seemed impossible: the ability to return to the wild. He did not save her to keep her. He prepared her to be free.
That story stayed with us because of the patience, the attention and the trust it takes to care for someone well. It is how we see our work too: arrive with presence, solve things with care, and leave everything stronger, simpler, better prepared.
Our name comes from there. So do the spots.
